Randall made is Springfield?
What's up with this knife? Looks like a #1. Any idea how old it is? When were Randalls made in MA?

Hi Jerry,
There were roughly 1200 of these made in '43/'44 by a guy named Larson under licence from Bo. Most were assembed by Northhampton Cutlery in Northhampton, Ma. (Larson lived in Springfield). The sheath were made by a company named Mosser. If you have Mr. Gaddis' book, there is a nice write up on them. Best, Ron |

Really good price. A little dinged up , but it is what it is. Someone got a nice prize.
