Handle Material

Hey Guys, this is my first offical post even though I have been a member for a few months. I thought I would put this information out there for anyone that lives in or travles through Central North Carolina. There is a store in Gibsonville that sells turning blocks for woodworkers. From what I can tell they will work for knife handle scales. I just finished a knife for my brother in law that had a bocote handle. I picked up the bocote there. I am not sure if they ship.you are interested give them a call, they are very nice guys and easy to deal with. I do know that the wood is usually green and wax coated on the ends. They cary several types of exotic hardwoods.

Thanks for reading, Mike
