Unfortunately I ground it too thin and it warped on the top edge while attempting to normalize it. But I have 2 more blanks and will attempt the next grind post heat treat. The blade is only 3/4" wide and will be sharpened on both edges and the round nose. It is a bitch to grind by the way. Thanks for looking.

Thanks Bob. A definite learning curve grinding something that little, but if I can do it anybody can. The hard part is going to be the HT and sharpening.

Well I guess AC has been doing other things too! Great work, very nice. Your leatherwork is inspiring!

KNIFENET MATERIAL: Uploaded a pic of my latest knife in the works. A 10" Competition Cutter fixed tang forged out of 5/16" 5160. 2" wide blade at the widest. Quite heavy and hope to win the cutting competition with it at the Branson Hammer-In end of the month. I have also started turning pens with scrap material and made a pen in Bubinga and a pencil in Padauk. Finish is Tru-Oil from Birchwood Casey. Very addictive and quick to satisfy compared to how long it takes to make a nice knife. Thanks.
