Since I'm a miserable photo maker as some of you know, I don't participate in this forum.

But,,, I bought one of this guy's light boxes several years ago hoping it would help me do better. I had built clumsy light tents out of PVC pipe and bed sheets, tried Coop's box made of white cards, and other things, went thru several different digital camera generations and still couldn't make a decent picture.

So,,, I bought his light box from his web site. And a set of photo studio lights.

I wasted that money too. As far as I can tell, it's not usable for knife photography.

You might be able to take a picture of a quarter in it, but the light would be uneven.

Sometime when I'm feeling really mean and harmful I may offer that thing for sale on Ebay.

I only shoot my knives for fun and what you see here is what i got:

It is what I do for a living and I have far from a boring life. I have shot every type of photography you can imagine, but I have only been doing it for 20 years so I guess I can't claim to be a professional yet. Now I only shoot knives and firearms and find that I finally have found the best group of people to work with. Before throwing out blind barbs, consider who you may be insulting.

Yes I saw that gallery before I ask that. May not have been photoshop but there was some serious image manipulation going on on just about all of those shots. Can I see your other galleries? I'll make it fair. http://wetlands.simplyaquatics.com/ and NO I am not a 'pro'

Do you know the difference between a professional photographer and a large pizza? The large pizza will feed a family.

It's just sickening to see some of the best members in the forums are talked to like this. These are people I'd give the shirt off my back, literaly. To bad you couldn't have been more like them, but you're not even close. It must be a sad life.

I went to your gallery and I had to look at the pictures of the TOOLS first...I loved them. I actually smiled while looking at these and thought how much you must have enjoyed taking pictures to do these....and then I wondered what would have driven you to take a picture of a drill bit and then I just figured because you could! Now you've gone and done it ....I'll have to dig through my tool chest and see what I can shoot myself now...
