Look at what I found

Cleaned the shop the other day and found half dozen Knife blades that I did
about 5 or 6 years ago and never finished, thy are made from SS 440C & ATS34. Thy are all Bowie's and were made for a Purveyor ? that said he could sell all I could make but needed SS so I went to the shop and started them then found out that He was full of S!!! so much for Purveyors.
Here is the first one
440C heat treat by Mr Paul, 9" blade, 14" over all. hand rubbed finish, NS fittings Sambar Stag handle, The front of the guard is stippled.
Now I know that SS is not the material of choice for Bowie's but I can't just through them away.
It is listed in fixed blade sales. Gib

Cool Gib, like the way the butt and guard filework matches the stag handle.

Really nice looking bowie, Gib. I see nothing wrong with a SS knife. I have made several SS bowies, as per the customers preference.

what a piece of junk, if you send it to me i will dispose of it properly and insure that nobody elses eyes are hurt as mine were upon viewing a monstrosity such as that,i mean realy, a stag handle with a textured guard that fits perfectly and then a pommel cap filed to fit that stag and a leather sheath to boot,i will be calling P.E.T.A and be reporting this animal abuse immeadiatly :evil :evil

I'm with McAhron. If you find anything else laying around your shop that is this bad. Let me know, and I will send you my address,(actually I think you already have it so you can just drop things right in the mail) no Gib it's no bother, we all have to help each other out...............tell you what I'll even pay the shipping, as a friend I will dispose of anything that looks like this for you. No matter how horrible and repulsive, and that sheath too, send that along and I will make sure it goes right along with the knife.............hehe

ps.I am also free to come clean your shop from time to time.
