shop knife
I use this little parachute cord wrapped O-1 blade around my shop it's great for scraping epoxy slop off of blades as well as most of my small cutting needs around my shop. The overall length is 5 3/4" and the chisel edged blade is 2 3/4" long.

Now that you mention it, I need to make me a shop knife. I find it comical that as am making knives I am always looking for a knife to cut something and usualy impravise. Once the knife is made and inspected I wrap it up and place it in my locker waiting for a sale. And you have no Idea how many times at our knife giuld meetings that somebody needs to cut a string and the question is asked, Anybody Got A knife????? Exept show and tell night. Then nothin needs a cuttin.
