Stub tang knife - Product improvement
Hi all
Not long ago i made my first hidden tang knife in a while. I really liked the design i made, so after reading your comments i tried doing some improvements to the design. I changed the slope and geometry on the back of the handle and beefed up the overall handle. I changed the geometry of the blade a little. I tried using S304 for the guard. It wasn't so bad working with as i'w read on multiple sites :-) Knife: Ermine v02 Blade: 01 steel Guard: S304 Pin: S304 Spacer: Blue fiber Handle: Brownheart wood Original design: Improved design: My first time adding makers mark. I didn't etch the logo deep enough though :-( I'll get that next time. |
