Not a knife guy but I have 300lbs of Titanium

Hi Guys , Just wanted to see if anyone could use some 6AL4V Titanium . We have a ton left over from some aircraft contract work . Mostly 1" x 3" - 5" x 12 . Other sizes also but mostly bigger . No cert but selling cheap . Thanks!

1" thick is far too much for almost any knife application. Most titanium gets used in folding knives. For that, 3/16" is about as thick as would be used and .050 to .125 would be much more common.

However, there are people who forge with titanium to make timascus. Those people might be able to use large pieces. Contact alphaknifesupply.com and see if they can put you in contact the makers who might need what you have .........

when you say 1 x3 and 5x12 is that like ray mentioned the thickness? or is that width and length...if its thinckness that's way to thick but 2 things do you have any .06 or .10 or .140 or .156 or close and can you provide pics to prove its in good condition meaning no deep scratches no bends no warps that sorta thing? if you want send me a private message and we can talk
