Angler's Leatherman sheath

I was just going through my many sheath pics and found this scanned photograph of a matched pair of sheaths I did way back in '88. They were for two good fishing buddies who used to stop by my knifeshow table often. They did a lot of river trout fishing and the sheaths for their Leatherman pliers had to have certain features. They left it up to me to design them.

They insisted on -
1. The pliers had to be "at the ready" for removing hooks while wading and trout fishing.
2. There had to be a retainer strap for use "off river" that had to swing out of the way while fishing.
3. There had to be a fitting to house a hook tying tool (the brass thing).
4. There had to be a ring on the front, the purpose of I don't remember.

So, this is what they got and they were so happy -

Very, very nice!

High quality, that's for sure. The stitching is emaculate.

Do you have a web site?

Proof enough that the man from Canada is not a "Johnny come lately!" Mike, my friend, those are impressive! That doesn't come as a surprise, either! Best of the New Year to you and the family! ---Sandy---
