A Bigger Press Just For Fun
For those of you contemplating a forging press and who think bigger is always better, boy!, do I have a deal for you! I found this one on eBay this morning, It's used, of course, so you can get it for only $75,000 !
It is an 800 TON press, the anvil plate is 5" thick and it can handle 33 strokes per minute. Heck, with this thing, you wouldn't even need to heat up your billet... Last edited by Ray Rogers; 03-08-2015 at 09:29 PM. |
