Finished Wharncliffe
Ok so I finally finished that wharncliffe. 1084 blade, differentially hardened and etched to bring out the hamon. There is a fused bronze (custom alloy by yours truly) eye and matching bronze pins. Ebony bolsters and stripe with Arizona desert ironwood. Filework on blade spine and tang. I used a new wax recipe for the sheath. It now includes ponderosa pine resin. It is much harder to work with but I think it makes the sheath much harder and durable.
