Scrimshaw artist wanted
Looking in for some recommendations. Even someone starting out is a possibility.
Thanks. Last edited by Ewalker; 04-28-2017 at 05:54 PM. |

No plastics
Got a very fast reply. But, sad to say he does not work with artificial materials.
Still searching. |

Sandra Brady, or sandyscrim. Look up some of her work here in the photo gallery. Here is a place to start looking for an artist near you.
http://www.scrimshaw.com/scrimshaw-artists/ They have a state by state map so you can see if any are near you. I have an artist friend, but she isn't there yet on scrimshaw, but when she gets it down I will certainly get her name out there. She paints with water colors and her paintings look like photos from only a few feet away. If you want a portrait done of someone or your pets she's a starving artist and is fairly inexpensive. It's a shame as she is so talented. She is also a Gulf War vet. Last edited by jimmontg; 04-29-2017 at 10:02 PM. |

Thanks!
Sandra says no to the micarta but she will do work on artificial items. So, I do have a chance.
Thanks again. |
