Another Scalpel
This is another version of the Ligurian scalpel I made last year. This is a present for a retiring surgeon. Imagine walking into the doc's office and seeing this on his desk: "...uh, doc, I think I feel a whole lot better already..."
The grip makes it look a bit more renaissance than ancient Roman. 440C Stainless with bronze and stag horn spacers and an alabaster stone set into the pommel.The wood in the grip and stand is Brazilian Blackwood.
