cheap disc grinder

Used washing machine motor, choice of two speed 1050 or 1750, 1/2 hp. available at scraps yards about $5 add a disk and do some wiring and away you go, This ones been working well for 3 years, Just a occassional clean out.

If you covered the motor with a pair of nylons, you would not have to clean it out as often.

I've been using a washing machine motor for my diskgrinder for about two years now. Still going strong!!!!!!!!!!
I built a wood box around mine to keep the dust off the motor, works pretty good, just an occasional cleaning required.
