I don't know what kind of tape they use, but I think it is the process that matters.
We've all tried to make our own belts, and now buy them. Once you have one or two slap you in the face a couple hundred times before you can turn the machine off, you will agree, it's not worth it. It REALLY hurts. |

In the grinding belt biz, the proper vernacular for the splicing tape is called" joints". Run across a few in the past, in trades and so forth. Have tried buying the joints from all the belt Co's, but they act like it is a national secret and will not sell if you are not a distributor. They want you to buy the belts, not make your own. Have tried many methods, but still cannot get one to stay together over prolonged use.
