Add your Knife Sites to Open Directory Project

Hi all,

Just wanted to make sure everyone here knows that you can submit your knife related sites to the Open Directory Project at no charge. Upon listing, the site usually ends up in Google, Hotbot, AOL search, and other directories and engines within a couple of months. (This depends on when each directory updates their database).

Collector sites are accepted in the category of Recreation/Knives which is here:

Online shopping sites for Knives can be submitted to Shopping/Recreation/Knives or if the site is related specifically to hunting knives, submit to this category:

Shopping/Recreation/Outdoors/Hunting/Knives at this url:

For those who do not own a business but who have a webpage of knives for sale, there is a classified knife category here:

http://dmoz.org/Shopping/Recreation/Knives/Custom_and_Specialty_Knives/Classifieds/

In addition, if you have a brick and mortar store in addition to a shopping website, your site may qualify for two listings, one in the Shopping Knives category, and one in Regional for the state and locality where your shop is located.

To add sites, just go to the category which is appropriate for your site, and click on "add url", follow the directions there for listing.
