Assembly Instructions
Alex
I didn't see a "Assembly Instructions" section for the knife. Will You be adding one? Thanks Gary www.fibermascus.com __________________ Silver and gold are refined in the fire (steel too) but God refines mens (knifemakers) hearts. Prov 17:3 |

New kit
My order is in! Also ordered the DDRII! Looking forward to receiving the goods. I was very happy with the quality and service received from my first order, which was the DDRI. Thanks.

Ned,
The blades are tumble mirrored to our specs. It is in between a mirror and a satin. If you want a bright mirror just hit it on the buffer with some green compound. It should just take a min. If you want a hand rubbed satin just stroke the blade with 600 grit paper. |

It's good. I like the tumbled finish. Was just checking that I didn't get a bad one.
What media do you tumble the blades in? Is it a vibratory tumbler or a rotary tumbler? |

Ned
It is vibratory. Our vendor uses several stages to get the blades to that finish. I really done know the grits. I think they said it takes 4 processes. |

Thanks. I guess I'll have to experiment with my brass tumbler

Ned,
I know they use polishing paste of some type and media in the final set up to polish them . |
