First Attempt at a Keyhole

I was inspired by some amazing knives in Blade last month featuring the keyhole technique. In a newbie attempt I come up with a chef's knife in 0.130" AEB-L, 304SS, stabilized amboyna burl, and 3/16" SS pins + a Frank Jacobs mosaic pin in the middle.

I guess a full tang keyhole is kinda cheating, but worth the effort as I feel it turned out okay. I did have some issues hiding the bolster pins.

I made a brief tutorial on my blog if anyone is interested in how it went together.

Comments always appreciated.

Dan

Very nice Dan, Especially for your first go at it! Looks like a pain in the ass to me! Think I'll hold off on trying one of those for a while...
