wanting to try, making a slipjoint
Guys, I have gotten a little bored with making fixed blades and thought I would like to try my hand at a slipjoint.
I have read Chris Crawfords tutitoral on them and was wondering if there was anything eles that I should be looking at ? I think I would like to start with a single blade Barlow I think, I'm not sure. Does anyone have any thoughts or suggestions, they would be very helpful. Thanks in advance for your help BB |

If you're interested I'm currently teaching a class on slipjoints via email.
Email me for the details. The barlow challenge in the sticky at the top of the Folding Knife forum is open. There's a lot of information there if you have the patience to go thru all the threads. |

Thanks Don,
I'll try and sit down and shoot you a e-mail as soon as I get the "honey do" projects done for the day. BB |

I made my first slipjoint after reading "The Complete Book of Pocketknife Repair". No other tutorials. From that I gathered enough knowledge to make a working slipjoint.
