help me make a choice...
i want a new digital camera. my older one is 1.3 MP and has auto everything. great for hiking, lousy for web pictures.
i would like to get another, ideally i would get 2+ Mega Pixels Manual and Auto Focus heck, anything manual and auto. im more used to using traditional cameras anyhow. im tired of no control in point and shoot cameras. ideally i would spend no more than $450 or so. any ideas? or should i just stick with my good film camera and scan everything in? thanks |

shop carefully - some places include 'value added accessories' in their price that are just junk. __________________ wayne things get better with age ... i'm approaching magnificent Last edited by whv; 03-20-2003 at 08:17 PM. |

I have had very good results from my Canon G2. You may be able to find one for your price since the G3 is now out. The G2 is 4 megapixels and has a very nice little zoom lens that works great for landscapes, portraits and everything in between. It has an excellent macro function that gets a very crisp image for knife shots and the like.
