Keep Jim Poling in your prayers!

I meant to put this up yesterday.... our pal Jim Poling was scheduled to have hip replacement surgery yesterday (1 Apr). Keep Jim in your prayers. I'm sure that once he is able, he'll let us know how he's doing.

ED

Just had my knee replaced so I know what Jim is going through. If you talk to him tell him it does get better. Important that he listens to his therapist and does his exercises. It hurts but it does get better and stronger. No sense going through this without finishing it off correctly. Everyone tells me I will be glad I did it, and I am sure Jim will feel better to. I am sure he will back at his bench in no tme!

Well I know he was sure ready. He's been hobbling around like that for four years I think he said.
I hope he posts something up soon.
You alright, Jim??
Or are you out playing volleyball?

Got a short email from Jim today.....

Quote:
Hi Ed

Got home yesterday evening form the hospital, the surgeon was pleased with the out come. I have begone to regain leg mobility with each day. When I saw the 10 to 11 inch incision all I could say "I've Been Violated!"
He's got his sense of humor, so it sounds like he's doing well! We'll keep you in prayer Jim, and hopefully I'll get to see you next week in Minnesota!

Hi All; Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers. A little over week since the surgery and my movement is much better but I still have aches that limit me. I keep wanting to go out to the shop and capitalize on these vacation days, but I know that at this point that would be a bad Idea. Ed I keep looking forward to the end of the week and the conference I have a visit with the surgeon on Friday morning and I hope he is satisfied with the progress and he lightens my restrictions. Take care all and have a great day,.

Jim
