steel jungle
Hi guys,
i?ve got a bit of a problem. i can?t decide on which steel to use for my second knife,
i?ve narrowed it down to these 2.
the first one is called elmax and consists of:
C 1.7
Si 0.8
Mn 0.3
Cr 18
Mo 1.0
V 3.0
the other is called vanadis 10 it consists of:
C 2.9
Si 1.0
Mn 0.5
Cr 8.0
Mo 1.5
V 9.8
both these steels are powder metallurgical cold work tool steels.
