Forgot the etchings on the handle. What i did learn about the knife was that it is a solingen made knife (scout knife) some call hunter knife, others say ;

Such style of fixed bladed knives with stacked leather handle (or other handle options such as stag horn, wood, ...) were being crafted by many Solingen cutlers. Most of them marketed such knives with their own brandname/trademark, some made them under contract for larger Solingen manufacturers or wholesalers with the customer's brand.
This style of knife was marketed in Germany for boy scouts under the term 'Fahrtenmesser' starting probably during the 1910s.
The matching belt leather sheath sometimes were being decorated with different objects in raised (?) form, such as the stag of your knife's seath.
A few Solingen cutlers are offering such style of knife still today.
