hammer-in?

Good day, all-

I don't want to sound like I'm inviting myself down or anything, but Joe & I were hoping for some info on Bowie's Hammer-In this fall. Been reading about all the other gatherings, & we'll have to make plans, & we had such a blast last year (our first), & so we thought we'd just see if anything's in the works yet.

Thanks-

Randy & Joe Nelson

If I am still looking at life from a vertical position I will be there. I really enjoyed the last one and would not think of missing the next one! ---Sandy---

I've been wondering about that myself, there has been a shortage of Bowie sightings lately...

It was nice to meet all you guys last year, hope to see you again this year!

Unless the Bowiemiester health has gone down hill since Blade I believe the problems he was having were a couple years ago. I spoke with him there and he said he had been doing fine. He didn't say one way or another about his annual hammerin but I would assume its still going to happen. He's been very busy building his presses.

I almost didn't recognize El-Bowie at the Blade gathering. He has lost weight (by choice I was told).

He almost looks like a human............ Please notice I said "Almost".

We sure would like to hear from Bowie, Wiggins, Kemp, or some of those barefoot ridge-runners.

Last time I spoke with Bowie was a couple weeks ago. I believe he is up north somewhere delivering a press now. When we last spoke, he was talking about the first weekend in October for his hammerin. Thats not for sure though. I will try and get up with him and find out for sure.

Hey Robert....didn't you hear- some of us have shoes now!!!!

Just got off the phone with Bowie. He was in Indiana, and on his way home. The hammerin will be the first weekend in October. Demonstrators he has right now are Burt Foster, Alex Daniels, and some hillbilly with new shoes from North Carolina. Several others are in the works. I am looking foward to seeing everyone!!! Remember, a grand time will be had, and the price is right. Bill

We will also have grinding demo with Alex Daniels , one of the best knife makers in the country,a master Grinder with some of the cleanest grinds you will ever see .
