Ya, probably around -150 to - 200 F at a guess, it's had a minute or two to warm up from closer to -300 F where it spent the night ....

I'm not sure if cryo would benefit a cardboard blade, but I left it out during a few overnight freezes just in case.

Well Eli, I have a theory that a cardboard blade will cut better for as long as it is frozen solid so I don't see a problem with you're process...

Knock yourself out. I saw a Youtube video on a guy who made a bicycle completely out of cardboard ! And the darned thing really worked very well too. If he can do that, I imagine you can make a knife of some sort ....

Why not use the "wrong" sized ones?

The wrong sized ones are way too small for the pins holes I have already drilled. For some reason I ordered 1/8" instead of 3/16" I ordered enough for this knife so it's only a 6$ mistake. And I have it to use on the one of the other knifes I have going drilled for the 1/8" pins already

1) There's plenty of room to drill 1/8" holes in the tang 2) Just use the 3/16" holes and fill the extra space with epoxy.

maybe your right Eli I think I'm gonna drill the 1/8 holes and mock assemble the knife with some pine wood and see how the small pins look. If I don't like em I'll set aside for another project and order some 3/16 pins.
