9 new blades

sorry i haven't learned how to post pictures yet- last 3 days i made up 9 new blades, 7 are short 3" skinners, 1 a7" camp knife, and 1 a 4" narrow drop point. heat treated today. so to celabrate i got out the dutch oven and baked a peach/fruitcocktail upsidedown cake- the wife gets a kick out of me cooking a cake in the dutchoven [ doesn't mess up her kitchen]. tomorrow the hard part starts[ for me]- finish work. it seems making sure everything fits tight without any gaps ,takes the longest and is nerve racking. maybe i'll learn how to post pictures.

You just had to mention a dutch oven didn't you!
The best peach cobbler I've ever had was cooked over an open fire using a dutch oven.

Congrats on working up the 9 new blades.

really enjoy cooking with the dutch oven- we do a lot of muzzle loading events and some of the guys make some really tastey stuff. anybody know how much charcoal to use when the ovens are stacked one on the other? usually there is twice as many on the top [ with one oven] - but when stacked it would seem there would be too many under the upper oven. but maybe not seeing how the heat has to go up and down- any help??

Space cake is a ordinary cake, mixed with very specific herb (canabis)... Makes one see pink elefants flying around in the living room. Over here in belgium, space cake is sometimes prescribed by doctors (for people with multiple sclerose) as a relaxing agent.

Dutch space cakes are deadly. They need a serial number and a 5 day waiting period.
