A hello from Tennessee

Hello all! I would like to say thank you for the wonderful resource and introduce myself. I am Shane Sanchez and have been making knives and straight razors for approximately 6 months. I with the help of some friends have sourced out and built a very humble little shop, tools include a2x72 belt grinder, A2 tool steel blade makers anvil, and small propane forge a la Kaowool and SIC . I hope to post a couple pics of my work here, the little black handle knife is SMBS from a 24 inch sawmill blade . The second one is coil spring from a Chevy truck I hope you enjoy and any comments are welcomed!

Yes sir I've been dabbling in straights all the ones I've forged are coil spring steel and shave great now that I can actually hone them !! I'm a fan of the way a smiling blade looks and shaves thanks for the kind words!
