Knife #270 from Knive and Scabbards

Greetings all! I have been randomly picking blades from Cowgill's Knives and Scabbards and recreating my own version of it. This time, it's knife #270. The drawing looks like this:



I don't know why, but this grabbed my attention. It's unusual for me, it's full tang and I prefer partial. It's really thin. The width of the blade is a little bit over 1/2 ". The thickness is listed at 3mm, and I kept pretty faithful to that.

Here's my version(sorry about the bad picture, I'll be retaking it in a few days):



I used W1 steel (I know they didn't have that alloy, this is my version) and walnut for the handle. The pins are brass.

I can't imaging this being used for anything but light use, like eating and the like.

Jamie, I really like what you're doing here. Could the knife you made your version of, be at all considered a fillet knife?
I think you have a good idea going.
