where to buy?

Hi guys,
I may be stupid or something, but I seem to be having trouble finding good websites that will sell Italian switchblades, without requiring me to work in some sort of supply capacity for the government or be a law enforcement officer.
How did you guys start your collections? Do you have any advice on where and how I should start?

Thank you in advance
Steve

try this

I haven't tried, but I found this site that might help you out;

www.nicnac.net

Looks like they leave it all up for the customer to take the responsibility.
Good luck.

Why not just type, "Hey, Guys, I want to break the law. Can you help me?"

We've suddenly had several first-time posters asking leading questions like this.

Psssst! Do you suppose it's the "heat" trolling for offenders??

Hmmmmmmmmmmm!

Legal

I'm from NY state and it's legal to carry an auto if you have a fishing or hunting ####### and are engaged in such activity. So, ease up on the flaming.

Vapor, I guarantee that ANY 5" Italian switchblade is completely illegal in NYS. Maybe under 4", but that's not generally what they come as. Your local fishing/hunting shop does not have Italian autos.

Pay attention to what TexasJack just implied. The ramifications go beyond being 'helpful' (or flaming, in your view) to being cautious about what is said on this forum.

That right of yours to carry an auto is under fire, believe it. Antagonists are everywhere. This may be an honest question, but it sure gives us pause to simply respond as if it don't matter. It do.

Now, all that said, I believe the poster has an honest question.

I hear ya, but just trying to give a poster some help. What they do with the info is up to them.
All info on that seller's website is open to the public knowledge and open to the community; so it's not like giving confidential info on an underground or illegal seller.

Have a good day.

Sorry, my bad. Didn't think asking an honest question would cause folks to think I was a cop. I looked at lots of those "33,000" websites for autos and most say the same thing.
Unless I work in some sort of supply capacity for the government or I'm a law enforcement officer, or have only one arm, I can't order an auto unless it's from my home state. Trouble is that I want an Italian and no one in Idaho sells them. I can get most of the domestic ones here...but not Italians

Ebay, you can buy em all day long. These aren't Italian but I have seen them showup. Just be the first to email the seller before it gets pulled. Look and ye shall find.

If you want some inexpensive Italian knives, here you go. (Shipping is included.)

www.bladeplay.com

Here is yet another site for Italian Autos.

www.lowcost-blades.com

Another "stateside" source for Italian autos (both inexpensive and higher-end).
