I really plan on making two of the same thing. Really.

Semi Skinner. 3/16" ATS-34 blade. Spaulted maple handles. Feels great in the hand.

Bob,
I told you once already in the "Makers" forum, but I'll tell you again -- I love that semi-skinner.

I'd like to see one with the Ringed Gidgee wood. I've only seen the stuff in pictures, but it reminds me of Curly Maple, which is one of my all time favorites. Where do you get your Ringed Gidgee anyway?

I picked a couple of blocks up from Neil Charity at the Blade Show. i think I will use ringed Gidgee on a Skinner for the Florida Knifemaker's Association Show.
