fastener question?
wanted to try loveless/corby bolts out, but what is the difference? or are they the same thing?

They are both different corby's are two piece a male and a female and you do not see any threads when ground down and finished. Now loveless style bolts are three pieces two female and one male and you can see the center thread a lot of times if they are not peened. Both work equaly well to hold your scales! Bob |

One thing with the Loveless style bolts is that you can mix & match the nuts and bolts, i.e. stainless bolt with brass nuts for a bullseye effect.

which ones are easiest to install, and what kind of drill bits are reqired. ?

I prefer the Corbys, but they are best used with the special drills that Sheffields sells. These are the correct size and have a pilot tip that makes a stepped hole nearly foolproof.

so they require a step drill bit? i was gonna order some but wanna make sure i have the proper equipment and knowledge to use them properly.does anyone have any pics?

Jantz also sells both the Corby and Loveless style bots and the special drill bits needed to drill the wholes in the handles.
