A little update....Mom made it through the surgery. Took about 4 hours. They got the breathing tube outta her about midnight last night, and had her sitting on the edge of the bed around 2am. I'm sending Mandi home for some rest, and will be with Mom at the hosptial at least for the rest of the day.

Much appreciation for the prayers! I'm always trying to be "the man"...and take care of everything....I'm always fighting myself to remember that I am only "a man".....but with God, all things are possible!

That's wonderful news, Ed! Bless your mom. That had to be quite an ordeal for her. It',, be great after she gets back on her feet....they'll be no keeping her down.

Good news on your Mom. It will take a bout a year before she is feeling fully herself, so just be ready for that. Been there done that.
