Antique Style Bowie
I was wanting to build one of the Early American Bowies and Dr. Jim Batson was nice enough to point me in the direction of this design based on the Woodhead Bowie of the early 1800's. The blade is 8 1/4 inch of 5160 and the handle is a box constructed coffin handle with bone scales. There is filework around the edge of the box. Thanks, Lin
