I'm weaker than I was, trouble with balance, and have memory loss and some confusion. My wife does a good job of helping me.

Not a problem. I love living. Thank God.

I had another TIA episode yesterday evening and called an ambulance. I'm back home today though and my DR. sent me for more tests. Now to find out what an MRA is.

Everybody be good now.

MRA=Magnetic Resonance Angiogram. Allows the doctors to see your blood vessels in great detail.

It's entirely possible they'll find some loose bolts or machine screws or such in there!!

You're in our prayers, Don!

Don, my friend, I have only recently discovered that you are having problems. I do not go to the forums as I once did and am not so well informed. I wish you to know that our association has been pleasant and I hope that it continues into the future. My fervent wish is that you can reach my age (90) and continue the attitude that we seem to share. "Keep the green side up! Sandy

Hi there, Sandy. I have had 3 of the TIA episodes now. I saw my Dr. today. I have a 40% blockage in my left carotid artery. That's what is causing the small clots traveling to my brain.

The brain arteries are all OK.

He sent me to a Neurogist to see if he wants to refer me to a Neurosurgeon to operate on my neck artery.

In the meantime, I've started a new flipper.
