Epoxy measuring Epiphany!
I had finally gotten tired of buying Acraglass Epoxy in the stock bedding kits. Didn't need the release agent, or the dies, etc. So I bought a quart sized kit from Brownell's. I had 5 partial hidden tang integrals to get glued up and couldn't decide on how to measure out the 4:1 ratio... Then it came to me like a shot (pun intended)..... Horse syringes from the feed & supply store. Maybe everyone's already got a good system figured out, but I hadn't and have had less than stellar luck in the past trying to mix small batches. Anyway, I thought I'd throw this out there 'cause most every city has some sort of pet supply or feed & tack store and they probably all sell these big old syringes. I think they were a buck and a half each. It also turned out that some 3/16" belting rivets I have (I cut the heads off and use them for copper pins) just happen to be a nice snug fit in the tips so I can just fill each with one component, squeeze out the exact correct ratio then plug 'em up and put 'em away.

Yep, that's a good system. My syringes cost about 59 cents and work just fine without any needle or anything else on the end. Afterwards, I wash them out with acetone and so far haven't worn out the first pair I bought. It's good you thought that up on your own but I didn't. I learned it from Ed Caffrey and since then have learned a bunch of others use that system too .......

It is the way to do it. I ask the same question years ago of how to mix small batches. I think Ed also helped me.
