Surgery.... Me too.
Well, folks, looks like we're having a rash of people having surgery. Curtis, Ed, et al. My best wishes to all.
I go into the hospital this Sunday for surgery on Monday to remove a first-stage cancerous mass from my intestines. They will remove a section of intestine and sew whatever is left back together. So from then on I'll be even more of a gutless wonder. No worries, I'm in the hands of God. Last edited by Don Robinson; 10-23-2009 at 02:58 PM. |

Thanks for your prayers!! They worked.
I came home from the hospital yesterday afternoon after 7 days. The surgery was a complete success.
They got it all. I don't have any real pain and am able to walk around the house just fine. I'm hoping to be able to make a few folders again. I'd had 4 of my latest on hand and sold 3 of them a couple of weeks ago. I wanted to keep one of the Toothpicks for myself, but the buyer insisted on having 3 as Christmas presents. So, my friends, I'm back! Give me a few weeks and I might have another folder. Best wishes to everyone. |
