New mark

Here's my new mark. This pic was from that last little file finished knife I posted. I haven't changed it for about 18 years.

Each mark is individual. I do the mark with one chisle that has a curved edge. I make 7 lines by hitting the chisle at an angle to the surface. The angle makes each line look triangular.

Cool Tai, is the bottom of the chisel rounded? I have some gravers, store bought and home made. Have done some simple graving, it's fun.

I need to look at your mark on the cactus handle knife. Will use my magnifier with my old eyes.

Gene, the one you have is the old mark. The main difference is that it has straight lines rather than curved. I'm not sure where I marked that one , but look on the butt or around the octagon ricasso.

There is definitely something timeless about a handmade / handmarked blade...

That's nice, Tai.

Tai-
Does this mean great minds really do think a like? (snicker if you like)
On the bottom is my chop that I've been using since 1983 or so. I use it only on my full custom work, otherwise it just gets my maker's mark.
It's five strokes of a swivel knife.
