Finally pictures of the new shop

The new shop is now operational, I still haven't found everything and I imagine it will take a while before I am used to where everything is but at least I can now get back to making knives. The new shop is still in the basement of the house which means no forge but I now at least have a door to the outside. I thought I would have more space thatn I do but there is a lot of empty space in the center of the shop that right now I don't know what to do with.
Any comments greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Steve

Your shop looks great. I know that you are happy to get back to working on knives. I am so envious of your space, I have one half of a two car garage. Your shop looks like you have everything organized pretty well. I love things organized, I just hate doing it. Congrats on the new shop.

Ok ok... enough about how good your new shop looks...

It is way to clean and needs something.... Oh I know... A party to break it in.... When is it and how do we get there...

Looks great and I only wish I had a shop like that.

It's super Steve !!! It's going to be a place you will love to go to anytime ! My shop too, is one half of a double garage that I ran a wall and insolated as well as the ceiling. I installed elecrical recepecals in the ceiling down the center, length wise. I have three three band saws and a lathe located in this center area. I have seen this area used to place regular work benches. Great doin's !!! Frank

Steve...I particularly like the light, bright look of your shop. The white walls and ample lighting would make it a great place to work in. You have obviously given "organization" a high priority...and it shows. While I do definitely appreciate organization, it seems to totally elude me in my shop. I do have a place for everything, but it seldom seems to be where it's supposed to be. My shop is the very personnification of the term "organized confusion".....but...it's either "put everything in it's place"....or....make knives. There just aren't enough hours in the day to do both.
Good job!
