Western Engraved Knife
Hello
I just finished this knife up and thought I would post some pictures. It had bone scales, which I removed. I then made new scales from red brass, overlaid them onto the knife and then engraved the new scales. Any ideas, thoughts or input is appreciated. |

Thanks for the comment on my knife. No your right that style would not look good on a colt. The western style is just that, a style used for buckles, spurs and the occasional knife. One of these days I hope to get where my firearms style looks good enough to put on a gun, but for now it will have to wait Thanks Mike www.parduesilversmith.com |

Very interesting and creative Mike. I was taught bright cut engraving by Johnny Weyerts, a engraver in Alpine, texas. I did not persue it enough to become a good hand at it, but it was quite fun just learning all the techniques. Thanks for sharing your work!
