I'm a Klingspoor kinda guy myself, but I'm currently testing some 3M belts that show promise. Either Pop or Tru-Grit are great folks to deal with, and each is extremely fair in price. I ordered belts for several years from Pop, but switched to Tru-Grit because of delivery times. Being in Montana, belts get here from Tru-Grit(in CA) within 3-4 days. When I order from Pop (In GA.), it's usually 7-10 days. |

Mike, I finally got around to trying the Norton Hoggers in the 50 grit. Wayne Goddard had recommended them to me. I am really pleased with the amount of steel they remove and how they hold up. Wayne had told me that they were more money per belt at around 5 bucks a piece but would last as long as 20 bucks worth of the cheeper belts. Something to consider. Know Trugrit carries them......Ray |
