Coffin Handle Vest Bowie
Back in the day when everybody carried bowies, it began to be unfashionable to have such a large knife, and so the smaller "vest bowie" was born. This knife represents several ?gfirsts?h for me. It?fs the first time I?fve done a coffin handle, and the first time I?fve used a frame handle construction. The 5 1/4?? blade is hand satin finished 1080 steel at RC 60 with drawn swedges. The guard and pins are 416 stainless steel. The handle is African blackwood with a red/black/red G10 frame. Overall length is 10 1/4??.

Really beautiful! I really love the frame handle construction and the contrast between the G10 and blackwood! Looks flawless and pins really add to the whole package! Congrats!
