My new (old) Outdoorsman ....
Here I wanna show you some pics of my latest score!
I got that beautiful #22 Outdoorsman from a good friend. It was made in the early 70th and it?s in a great condition near mint! Hope, you guys like it like I do?! __________________ Peter Westerwald/Germany RKS #5889 Last edited by Badger-Attack; 10-23-2011 at 05:04 AM. |

Nice knife.
I just used Google Maps to see where you live, and I was stationed nearby in Geissen when I was in the U.S. Army in 1983-1984. I loved it in Germany, it is so much like Wisconsin where I am from. __________________ Rob Frey |

Hey Rob!
Giessen is only around 30-40 miles from my home! So we were neighbors in 83! __________________ Peter Westerwald/Germany RKS #5889 |

Congratulations Peter on a great find.
The model #22, the "Outdoorsman" has been a solid skinning knife in the RMK lineup since it was first introduced in April, 1971. Enjoy yours!!! Cheers! David __________________ It takes less effort to smile than to frown ! |

David,
I agree. My #22 is a great knife. One of my hunting buddies has been trying to talk me out of it for awhile now. The handle fits the hand well and its fine blade makes for an awesome skinning knife. #22s work well on moose, deer, and bear. Cheers, Alan |
