Handle shape....the guard

ok just got my blades and handle blanks in the mail.
im trying to design the guard area.....any ideas on the angle?


and this is the wood im using

Number 3 or number 5,. Find some cheap construction sight wood and rough out a couple. See what you think of them held against the knife. Also look through the galeries to see what guard shape looks best on other knives.
