Hi all!

As Cap has said, he sent me a "boat load" of photos of some of his users. He apologizes for the quality, since he had to use his secondary camera. So without further ado, here they are and what the Captain has to say about them:

The first series of pics (and you can decipher them from the second batch) are of some, but not "all" of my model #6's that I carry and use.

There is a 9 inch, "large filet knife" that I have used for about 10 years. There is a 5" version to match it that is much older, probably about 5-8 years older. It has been used so much that it is on it's 4th sheath!!









There is a 4 1/2" #6, "steak knife" that I robbed out of a set of 8 I bought back from a customer about 4 years ago. The stag was too amber and nice. I had another "steak knife" made up to replace it in the set. This one that I kept, had a large enough diameter piece of stag, and it was long enough back in time, that the Randall shop installed finger grips in the stag for me, along with a wrist thong, compass and my name!!









Both this knife and the 5" version, with a nickel silver single hilt, cannot be duplicated today, as finger grips are unavailable on 3/16" stock blades. The 5 inch one has a nickel silver single hilt, aluminum and red spacers, duralumin butt cap, wrist thong and name etching. The 9" matches in every way..even the color and texture of the stag!!

Lastly, I have shown ya'll the coolest of all my model #6's! It is actually a model #6, "heavy", as it was forged a bit larger to accommodate the "slab-sided" fossil walrus handle. The hilt is reduced and nickel silver. The aluminum and black spacers, teardrop handle, and almond-shaped butt cap, with wrist thong compliment this splendid piece. Of course, it has name etching.







It has a model "B" sheath in black, with a "handle keeper".

I was in Sullivan's one day and the cool pouch sheath was sitting in Greg's display case for sale. He had not made it up with my knife in mind...but, brother..does it ever fit perfectly!







The black ostrich sheath (below) I picked up from my friend, and knifemaker, Johnny Johnson, from Dade City, Fl. The 4 1/2" reduced hilt knife carries quite well in it.





I have also included a couple of pics of the front and backs of several of my "carry" sheaths. Some have already been described.The exception is a waxed sheath for my 5" Model #7 with #6 grind. It has a drain hole in the lower back side!!





NOW.............Can we get down to deciding what Model #6 we are going to build?!?!?

O.K., CRew,
Let's have a name and blade length preference. I am in town this week for the gun and knife show at the central Florida fairgrounds. I can check in on this. One thing to remember when deciding which one of these things ya'll want to build. I just delivered a huge combination to a customer in Tallahassee. It was a 9", "Large Filet Knife", with a nickel silner single hilt, aluminum and black spacers, stag handle, nickel silver butt plate and a black sheath! The fork and steel were ordered to match it, along with the 3 piece felt wrap...Sound good? Thanks: I had made it up for display and ordering. Here's the figures. When you see the total, ya'll might want to change your mind on the "total" combination, as it is pricey!

It's a way-cool package and would be a fine addition to anyone's collection. This particular set had the best matched set of stag handles I have "ever" received..."EVER"!! BUT: You can have 2 nice Randalls for the price of this package..although it is a nice package...Just something to think about when you respond to this.."ROLL CALL"
