My make on a Searles Bowie

Have not posted in a while so I thought some of you may like to see my make on a Searles Bowie. 13 1/2 inch overall. My damascus (1095 and nickel) nickel silver and African Blackwood. I love making these and seem to have to make one every 4 or 5 months. Hope you like it.

Thanks for the nice comments. Skipknives, I appreciate that you noticed that as it is a bugger to get it just right and you have to sharpen the blade before it is constructed so you do it while holding the hidden tang.

Dan, that knife is a beauty. The pure nickel give a great contrast.
