Dirk? Seax? new knife, dont know what to call it.

Here's a new one I am finishing up, the sheath will be wood with a latigo leather covering. Oal is 13.25" with a blade length of 8.25". Forged and ground from 1095, edge quenched. Handle is ironwood and burnt applewood, brass guard and pin. Top 2.5" of blade has a sharpened edge, bit o filework on the spine. What ya think?

I'd call this one lowdownmeanandnasty! In a good way of course. Very graceful, and somehow just looks sharp!

Very nice indeed! I don't know which I like best, the handle or the blade. Probably both
