New Hollow handle
http://www.knifenetwork.com/forum/al...pictureid=4442
Just made my first hollow handle. It is a prototype based on Jimmy Lile's method of construction. The blade is 1/4" 440c and the handle and tang plug were turned from 416 stainless. The plug pin is 1/4" 6al4v. So far I've beat it through fat pine logs about 4" diameter and chopped down a small oak tree in the yard. It is holding up great heat treated to 59hrc. |
