Sheath for a Fisk SW Bowie...

Here's a Southwest Bowie from the last Fisk Micro Show, and the proud, new owner, who asked me to post this for him, says I completed the package beautifully.

The "package" is not quite finished - I'm building a display stand to go along with...
The sheath is full smooth leather lined and finished to make it eay to clean. The "safety strap" is a simple leather wrap weighted with a piece of Damascus - this is a simple on hand retention device that can be tucked out of the way for display if so desired.
Hopefully my next pictures will better catch the nuances of the colors (reddish browns shifting to almost black) in the sheath, which was dyed to "match" those in the knife's handle.

Wild Rose Trading Co - Handcrafted Knife Sheaths

The beautiful sheaths created for storing the knife elevate the knife one step higher. It celebrates the knife it houses.

That's better,Chuck. I always look here first and hardly ever think to look up in the left hand corner. and besides it looks just as good here as it did over there.

The knife and sheath are both beautiful! And they make a great set!!

Is that a piece of horn inlayed in the loop?

A little hard to tell in the photos. (Don't post this where the photo guys can comment!!)
