Belated Christmas pics

First I had the challenge of taking decent pictures. Once I got those, the files were too large to post. So, I took a shortcut by posting them on Yahoo. I'm sorry you can't see the animation in the display from these stills.
I hope you all have a great 2006. It's a big year for me, I have Randalls due this year. I'll have to look them up to remember which ones, but they're coming!

Hi Martha!

Very cool photos!

I liked the lights, the cat, the dogs, the tree, and the bear!

Thanks for sharing!

Now , about those Randalls you have coming... Surely you must remeber the rule that if one can't remember what their order is for, the knife must be offered at cost to a northern antlered fellow who will be glad to take them off your hands.

Cheers!

David

Moosehead,
It's the RKS mini. The first from the shop is June of 08. A #2-4 boot knife with concave walnut handle, ss, domed brass butt cap and brass spacers. I forgot I had even ordered that one.

Martha, great pictures and light display! I like it all!

Looks like you have some nice furry and warm companions too. Animals are so cool! We miss our dogs but enough cats have taken their place to keep us busy and entertained for now.

Martha,
....Great Christmas lights. I bet you had a lot of traffic stopping in front of your house.

Martha,
Thanks for sharing the photos of your lights. That's quite an effort, well beyond my ability which is limited to buying an extension cord at HD.

After Wilma blew through in late October, there wasn't much in the way of holiday spirit in my part of South Florida this year.

I'm glad to see that our downtrodden attitudes didn't infect Virginia.

Martha,

Thanks for the Picts! Loved the furry critters that keep you warm!

Hope your electric bill wasn't too bad!
Went out last night to unplug the last of my lights, and I saw that some critter had chewed through one of my extension cords. I wonder if it was a good experience for him??

Thanks again!

Kent

Kent,
I sure the critter got a charge out of it.
I've had to convert to mini lights with locking bulbs. There is a squirrel in these parts that knows how to unscrew the larger C-7s and C-9s. What he does with the bulbs is beyond me.

The light bill wasn't bad. The animation meant not all lights were on constantly and I added a number of LED lights this year. Plus, I pre-paid a good portion of the bill ahead of time.

Azgator,
Sorry Wilma washed up your spirits. I have a number of Christmas light friends around the state who were in your boat, and worse off. I saw a lot of pictures this year of icicle lights on FEMA trailers.
