something completely different and a question

This is something completely new for me. It is an 8 " 440C mirror polished dagger with twist damascus accent. My question is where on a knife like this do you etch your name? Any comments or suggestions more than welcome.

Thanks
Steve

I'm no expert but how about on the top edge of the handle area? Would it be wide enough to etch your name? Pretty interesting design!

Hi Steve..I like the idea of the top edge as well, but perhaps on the edge of the butt would be more out of the way, and might allow you to make it larger and bolder. (and not mess up the asthetics...) Very cool knife by the way, and with all the materials available for the inserts, lots of different looks possible...Rich

good design, steve.
i think i would pick a 'private side' and etch the mark as you usually do, toward the top in front of the handle.
thanx

Steve,

First off, VERY nice design. I like it very much. Did you enjoy it as a departure from what you normally do?

Anyway, just use this photo as food for thought:

Anything with that much real estate is possible.
